2010 PROGRAM WORKSHOP Tuesday 9 March 2010
Seven of the founding members of WITBN had agreed to participate in the 2010 WITBC programme workshop held in Taitung, Taiwan; APTN, BBC Alba, Māori Television, NRK Sámi Radio, ‘Ōiwi TV, TG4, and Taiwan Indigenous TV. Each broadcaster was allotted 25 minutes to present a case study as well as a trailer from the chosen project. Program Workshop Report will be updated soon.
2010 NEWS & CURRENT AFFAIRS WORKSHOP Tuesday 9 March 2010
Seven WITBN members participated in the 2010 News & Current Affairs Workshop. Ideas raised included sharing weekly news rundowns as well as the feasibility and desirability of sharing news stories on a daily basis in the nature of an international indigenous news agency where reporters can broadcast in their native language and still be apart of WITBN.
