WELCOMING GALA DINNER Tuesday 9 March 2010
WITBC’10 host organization TITV/PTS and Taitung County Mayor Huang Chien-ting hosted a welcome dinner reception at Cheilulan Recreation Park. The reception started at 6:30 pm, serving Austronesian style food. National Museum of Prehistory Curator Tong and Gagun Band gave the night a memorable start.
The entertainment shows were presented by Formosa Aboriginal Song and Dance Troop, the respectful activist/singer Kimbo (Paiwan, Puyuma), and a traditional group dance. The Paiwan wooden joint-cup was granted to the guest, symbolizing the connections among indigenous broadcasters.
