Every two years, WITBN holds the World Indigenous Television Broadcasting Conference. The aim of the conference is to create opportunities for Indigenous broadcasters to exchange views and experiences; and to encourage interaction and communication among Indigenous media worldwide.
The conference gives Indigenous media around the world a platform for sharing media know-how, and discussing the challenges of Indigenous media in a competitive and fast-growing environment.
The fourth World Indigenous Television Broadcasting Conference – WITBC ’14 – will be hosted by Aboriginal Peoples Television Network in Winnipeg, Canada in July 2014.
