WITBN members are classified as Founding Members, Full Members, and Associate Members.
The WITBN Associate Members are:
1. Indigenous broadcasters that identify with the purpose of WITBN, have a mandate to promote and revitalize the Indigenous language(s) and culture(s) and are not commercial organizations focused on profit maximization; or
2. Public broadcasters that have a mandate to promote and revitalize the Indigenous language(s) and culture(s) and are not commercial organizations focused on profit maximization; or
3. Non-Indigenous broadcasters, Indigenous or non-Indigenous production companies, news agencies, academic institutions, or other organizations associated with Indigenous broadcasting that identify with the purpose of WITBN and are willing to assist WITBN in fulfilling the purpose and main aim.

Pacific Islanders in Communication, Hawaii Located in the heart of the Pacific Ocean, Pacific Islanders in Communications (PIC) was established in Honolulu as a national non-profit media arts corporation in 1991. PIC’s mission is to support, advance, and develop Pacific Island media content and talent to create a deeper understanding of Pacific Island history, culture and contemporary challenges.
